It’s easy to write a grand vision. It’s harder to start small and earn the right to it. So here’s both — the where-we’re-going, and the how-we-start.
Start with one city, done right
We’re launching in Abuja first, on purpose. We’d rather be genuinely excellent in one city — fast deliveries, verified kitchens, recommendations that actually fit — than mediocre across ten. Get the model right, then expand.
The bigger picture
By 2030, we want GrubFairy to be the simplest way to eat well across African cities — a platform where:
- Discovery is effortless. Your next favourite meal finds you, instead of hiding in a list.
- Local kitchens thrive. Great food wins on quality, not ad budgets.
- Riders earn fairly and with dignity, on their own schedule.
Built with our community
We don’t think a vision like this gets built in a boardroom. It gets built order by order, with the foodies, chefs, and riders who show up early and tell us what’s working and what isn’t.
If that’s you, come build it with us. Join the waitlist, or if you run a kitchen, partner with us.
